40FT adapted container for storage use.

We have designed and fabricated into this 40ft refrigerated container the ability to store items of stock separately .

The fabrication of this container overall took eight weeks to complete, from start to finish.

Our chief engineer Michael designed and then fabricated this unit, on land we were renting from Ace Containers in Leeds, before it was moved to our customers site.

Once the box was prepped, using acro props one whole side was removed. Allowing him to add 11 separate frames with 11 separate doors along one side all able to be individually locked, which will keep any stock held within, safe. Each door can be opened individually, to enable access to storage compartment, so only one door at a time can be opened, rather than all at once. A new floor was laid so to make it safer to walk on, as the floor in reefer/containers tend to be heavily grooved.

Each door has it’s own individual ramp for easy and safe access, which can be removed and secured to the back of the door, when not in use.

The box has temperature control if you require it and CCTV capability for security purposes.

The final product turned out better than we hoped, as our customer had a lot of imput into this project throughout fabrication, but as always we rose to the challenge and the project was completed on time and on budget.
